Problem
Gateway Health was looking to update their existing app with a refreshed look and feel. The rebuilt app needed to display updated information for mothers, showcase surrounding available services and clearly depict to new mothers the journey they will be on.
Other components of the brief was the need to help explain the journey of motherhood in a visual manner, as well as resolving the difficultly of finding the app in the relevant app stores!
Strategy
Our focus for the app centred on improving the user experience and design of the app. The goal was to ensure that all modules within the app were functional, stylish, on-brand as well as being easy to use.
Key components of the solution included a user friendly searchable map for surrounding services, imagery leading UX design interface, a yellow-brick road style journey map and of course a name change to make the app much easier to find & download!
Outcome
After launching the app in late 2020, the customer feedback has been incredibly positive. The number of downloads, overall new users and favourable feedback from mothers has confirmed what a great resource this has become for regional Victorians.
